Stephen D. Libowsky

Stephen Libowsky is a member of SNR Denton's Litigation
practice.
He has a broad range of experience working on complex commercial
litigation in the areas of antitrust, bankruptcy, employee
benefits, professional liability, and securities.
His antitrust experience includes counseling and litigation in
the areas of grand jury and internal investigations, mergers and
acquisitions, joint ventures, relationships with competitors, and
distribution and unfair competition.
He has extensive experience in the markets for recorded music,
beef and cattle, newspapers, television stations, information
retrieval, health care and pharmaceuticals, sports and
entertainment, and manufacturing, including the automobile
industry.
He has prosecuted and defended benefit coverage and funding
matters, plan termination, and related excess funding matters.
He has counseled and represented businesses, consultants and
professionals with respect to ERISA and the insolvency of entities
issuing or guaranteeing plan benefits and the full spectrum of
tort, statutory and contract litigation.
Stephen has advised clients in financial and business matters on
an array of issues, including bankruptcy, insolvency and
rehabilitation proceedings.
In his securities practice, he has counseled and litigated in
all areas of securities, from tender offers to friendly and hostile
mergers and corporate acquisitions.
His professional liabilities practice encompasses advising
professional firms on alleged negligence, breach of fiduciary
duties and conflicts of interest.
Stephen clerked for the Hon. G. Ernest Tidwell, United States
District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, 1982-84.
